My Schoenstatt Home Shrine History and Development
After making a Covenant of Love with our Blessed Mother (as a concrete way of living out our Baptismal Covenant) under her title of Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt,
we may proceed to make our home a Schoenstatt Shrine as an extension of the Original Shrine in Germany through a home shrine dedication.
If we move our residence, our shrine travels with us to our new home. My shrine and I have moved residences over the years.
In Schoenstatt, we also give our home shrine a name or title.
As I have grown over the years in my Covenant of Love, my home shrine has gradually grown to become not just a Home Shrine, but a Community Shrine: Mary's Castle of Light, where she is honored especially as our Mother of Mercy.
The history of my shrine follows below.
My original Home shrine Location and Dedication in Fairborn, Ohio.

Presided over by Gordon Lis, one of the original members of the Schoenstatt family in Ohio. Gordy has passed on to Heaven and continues to help me in my Schoenstatt work. Thank you Gordy for all of your support and dedication over these many years!
