Father Leo passed to his eternal reward during the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 as a result of ministering to the sick.

Schoenstatt Father Jonathan Niehaus

Two days before my home shrine re-dedication, I was informed of the passing of Schoenstatt Father Johnathan Niehaus.
Thank you Father Niehaus for teaching me about the depths of Schoenstatt through your writings.
 
We included Father Niehaus in our prayers at the re-dedication ceremony.
